Mrs. Fritz - Room 18
Hello, my name is Mrs. Fritz and this year will be my 11th year as a 4th grade teacher with Sanger Unified. I grew up in Fresno and have lived in the Sunnyside community for the last ten years. I graduated from Fresno State in 2005 with a BA in liberal studies and went on to receive my Masters in Education, Curriculum & Instruction in 2016.
Over the past few years I have taken on several different roles here at John Wash. I am the founder and director of the John Wash Glee club, which is a performance art (vocal, dance, drama) group, and I also direct our school musical. I have experience coaching volleyball and basketball, and I am in charge of the school talent show at the end of the year. I also serve on our school's leadership team and am a member of the JW PTA.

Besides teaching, one of the most important roles of my life has been becoming a mom. My husband, Joey, and I have two beautiful daughters: Justice (4) and Jessie (3). My girls are my world, and I know they will look forward to being future Tigers themselves. In addition to our daughters, we also have two fur babies: Sid and Sofie. Those two like to get into all sorts of shenanigans, but we love them dearly.
As this school year progresses, you will learn a few things about me, the first of which is that I have extremely high expectations of my students and a strong desire to help them succeed. I am passionate about my teaching and believe that being an educator is more than just a profession… it is a calling. I also happen to believe that 4th grade is the BEST grade to teach, and I love the opportunities I have to build relationships with students on a daily basis. I look forward to getting to know you better this school year!
